Also known as: Pacific Oysters (New Zealand), Ma-gaki (Japan), Huitre pacifique (France), Osta Pacifica (Spain).
Characteristics: Creamy white flesh with blackish edge. New Zealand Oysters can be consumed raw or cooked.
Description: New Zealand Oysters are cultivated. Average sizes are 70 - 100 mm in length.
Main Season: Harvested from March to December.
